PEP Author Prize
In 2011 Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing announced a plan to recognise influential authors who are alive and published in the last 20 years on PEP Web by offering a monetary reward to the top downloaded authors of 2010, and again for 2011. The individual prize amounts are proportionate to the number of downloads the articles of each author received within the year. Statistics for the most popular and most cited articles at http://www.pep-web.org/. In the PEP tab click “See full statistics” in the left hand column.
PEP’s success depends on the excellent scholarship of the contributors to its journals and the Board of PEP has decided to share its success and recognise its indebtedness to authors.
